Listen to today’s Inspirational Though  from our Children’s Pastor- Dave Marsh

Creek-Kids

Have you ever felt like the demands of life were keeping you from your most important priorities? The Bible says that as the news about Jesus spread, the crowds of people continued to come to hear him speak and to be healed of their sicknesses. And then it says, “But Jesus OFTEN withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” Healing and helping people is important work that could have easily consumed all of Jesus’ time. But He didn’t let the demands of others keep him from prayer—in solitary, quiet places. He could have settled down in one place for his whole ministry and let people come to him. But Jesus knew the value of sticking to his first priority in life—to know and obey God’s will for Him. If we’re not careful, we will allow busyness and other people’s priorities to pull us from God’s will for us. Take time to be alone and pray and watch God work in your family.
