Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless. Ecclesiastes 5:10

This week, we have been looking at what the Bible says about living financially healthy lives.

Yesterday, we started by looking at what the Bible says we should NOT do with our money:   don’t waste it, and don’t love it.

The third way the Bible says we should NOT handle our money is: DON’T TRUST IT FOR SECURITY!  Why is that? Because money can be gone in a flash.  Proverbs 23:5 says, “Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle.”

We do not want to trust our money for security because we are not certain it will be there for us tomorrow.

The Bible also gives us a fourth direction on  what we should NOT do with our money:   “DON’T EXPECT IT TO SATISFY YOU!” Scripture makes it clear,  “Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless.” Ecclesiastes 5:10

4 thoughts about money to remember:

*  DON’T WASTE IT!
*  DON’T LOVE IT!
*  DON’T TRUST IT FOR YOUR SECURITY!
*  DON’T EXPECT IT TO SATISFY YOU because it never will!

Join me tomorrow as we examine what the Bible says we should do with our money.

Have a blessed day!
