Over the past few weeks, we have looked at what the Bible says about truly living healthy and blessed lives.

We have looked at our lives and what the Bible says about our spiritual health, physical health, mental health, emotional health, and last week we looked at our relational health.

This week we will examine what the Bible says about our financial health.  Financial health and how we deal with our money is  important to God.   You should know that Jesus spoke more about how we handle our money than He did about heaven and hell combined.

Half of all the parables Jesus told were related to our material possessions. Why do you think that is? It’s simple: Money has tremendous power and influence in our lives!

The Bible says, “Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.” 1 Timothy 6:17

You might not think that you are rich, but if  your household income is over $50,000 then you are in the top one percent of the world’s richest population.

No matter how much you earn, we are told in scripture several important instructions as to what we should and should not do with our finances.  Tuesday’s blog is dedicated to examining one aspect of financial healthiness.

Think about it and have a Blessed day!
