Stay Positive And Expect the Best – November 19, 2015

Isaiah 43:2, When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.

This week we have been looking at five keys to improving your attitude. The first three were, “Take Action and Then Let It Go,” “Forgive Easily the Limitations And Mistakes Of Others,” and “Don’t Compare Yourself To Others.” If you missed any of those blogs, you can find them @ www.johnmarkcaton.com.

A fourth key to improving your attitude is, “Stay Positive And Expect The Best.” How often do you focus on the potential bad outcome in your life, rather than the good? Too often when we head into our day, or a decision, we focus on what could go wrong instead of what could go right. Focusing on what could go wrong is one of the surest ways to destroy your attitude. However, to be fair, even when we have a positive attitude, sometimes things go wrong, and just how should we respond when things don’t go our way? Stay positive! Remember, if you want to see the rainbow, you have to put up with the rain, and if you hear the thunder, it means you survived the lightning.

Think about it…and have a blessed day!
