I will never forget how excited I was the day I opened my first air gun on Christmas morning.  That toy brought me so much joy!  When I go back to my parents’ house I can go out in the garage and see that rusted, broken toy gun sitting next to a shoe rack. It is no longer shiny and perfect, and it no longer gives me the joy and happiness it once did. Why doesn’t this toy satisfy me like it once did? Maybe the answer lies in the reality that I was designed to be satisfied by so much more.  All of our earthly possessions will one day end up in the garbage or a garage sale; however, a relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will last forever. We were designed to be consumed by it.  But first, you must believe.  The focus of this season is Christ’s birth.  Christ’s gift to each one of us.  Do you believe?

Romans 6:23 says: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Think about it, and have a Merry Christmas
