Here is a thought—“You are Repairable!”

The National Corvette Museum is located in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The Corvette Museum, as you might guess, houses the world’s oldest, rarest and most valuable Corvettes on the planet.

However, in the middle of the night back on February 12th of this year, a massive sinkhole opened up and swallowed eight prize Corvettes. The good news is that General Motors quickly stepped up and said they would help restore the corvettes if they could be recovered from the sinkhole.

Over the last few months, one corvette after another has been plucked from the sinkhole with a commitment from General Motors to restore it. As you might imagine, the Corvettes are all in various states of disrepair. But when the last of the eight corvettes was recovered from the sinkhole, the representative from General Motors said it was simply beyond repair and could not be restored.
That story reminded me of many of us. As we travel through life the consequences of sin leaves many of us at varying levels of disrepair. But the good news is that God never looks at us and says irreparable.

In fact, the Apostle Paul says, “…if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17. In other words, with Christ in our lives through faith…God can and does restore us.
Think about that today…and have a blessed day!
