God’s Game Plan – January 6, 2016

Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Football coaches always enter their games with a plan. They take into account the abilities of their team, their opponent’s attributes, weather conditions, health, and even time of day.
When they win, they often say, “We stuck to our game plan.” After a loss, “We deviated from our game plan” or “We were forced out of our game plan.” Coaches place a lot of value on the plan for the day’s contest. We often wonder what the plan for our life is, asking “What is our game plan?” Everyone’s game plan is different, but, like winning a football game, the goal is the same for all. For us as individuals, the “win” is to glorify God. However, how do we find the game plan? We simply find the coach and ask Him. God says in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,…plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Do we know our game plan for 2016? If not, find the Coach, and ask Him. He knows the plans, and He wants to put us in the game!
