Attitude is the way we look at life or life’s situations. Attitude is our inward feeling which is often expressed by our outward behavior.  It is our attitude that attracts people to us, and it is also our attitude that repels them away from us.

People who have negative attitudes can always find someone/something on which to blame. We must take ownership of our attitudes, both positive and negative. Though many of our attitudes are formed during our childhood, as an adult, regardless of our age, environment, education and experience, we get to choose our attitude every morning.

Paul wrote to us about our attitudes when he said, “brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” (Philippians 4:8) Paul is telling us that we choose how we think. We can choose to look at the good or the bad; we can look at the positive or the negative; we can examine what is pure or impure and what is right or what is wrong…it is our choice.  Look at the good today, and have a positive attitude!  It is the true way to success and happiness.
