Here is an interesting headline I just read in the Chronicle of Philanthropy… “More Religious States Give More to Charity!”
The study found that the more religious people and the more religious states gave more to charity, and conversely, the least religious people from the least religious states gave the least to charity.

Further, the study identified southern states as more giving than northern states with the northeastern states being the least giving states of all.It is clear that for all the bad press we religious types get from time to time, we are still the prime movers and givers when it comes to compassion and helping out those in need.

This is not surprising because it was God who gave his son, and it was God’s son who offered these amazing word, “for God so loved the world that he GAVE His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but would have ever lasting life.”(Jn 3:16)
Have a Blessed Day!
