He escorted them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” And they spoke the word of theLord to him along with everyone in his house. He took them the same hour of the night and washed their wounds. Right away he and all his family were baptized. He brought them into his house, set a meal before them, and rejoiced because he had come to believe in God with his entire household. ACTS 16:30–34
It’s a simple thing! That word simple means “easy to understand, not elaborate or artificial.” In Acts 16-the Philippians Jailor came to Paul and Silas and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They responded-Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved” Now that’s a simple thing.
Too often we don’t share our faith because we think it’s difficult to explain, but in reality, sharing our faith story should not be overcomplicated. The Gospel is a simple thing. What do people need to do to be saved? Accept God’s Love through Jesus Christ by believing in Jesus.
So as you make your journey today—remember the simple things…remember the best thing…tell someone about Jesus! Have a great day!
