Proverbs 11:24, One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.

I’ve been teaching a series at Cottonwood Creek entitled, “The Heart Of Jesus!” Sunday, I said the heart of Jesus was that His followers would be fishers of men. In other words, every day we want to live our lives in such a way that we draw others to Christ. The first step to drawing others to Christ is a positive attitude.

This week, I want to give you five thoughts that will help you turn your bad attitude into a good one. The fifth key to improving your attitude is to say please, and thank you. Being polite is not a hard thing to do, yet so often we forget these simple words, especially with those closest to us. It’s been proven repeatedly, that if you want to improve the attitude of others saying please and thank you will go a long way toward making that happen. Study after study has shown that in interpersonal relationships people want to be around positive people. When people want to be around you, that is the first step to you being a fisher of men!

Have a blessed weekend, and I hope to see you in church on Sunday!
